Mt Robson
Mt Robson 12,972 ft/3954m. “King of the Rockies” highest peak in the Rockies. Robson stands 200m higher than any other 11,000er and has 3000m elevation gain from the road.
This is a 5 day alpine style ascent of the classic North East face, Kain Route.
Day 1- Drive to Mt Robson Provincial Park and helicopter into the Extinguisher Tower camping sites.
Day 2- Glacier travel and snow climbing to gain our high camp on the Dome. We ascend the snow face to the left of the lower icefall.
Day 3- We attempt the summit via the 1500 ft Kain Face, snow and ice up to 50 degrees for 8 pitches, then 3 hrs more of glacier travel up the SE face to the summit. This day can take 12-16 hours depending on snow conditions.
Day 4- Try Mt Robson again if no luck on the previous day or we can move camp off the dome and down onto the Robson Glacier and try an ascent of near by Mt Resplendent, 11,241ft
Mt Robsons sister peak. A classic ridge traverse to the peak.
Day 5- Pack up camp move down the Robson Glacier to the heli pick up and fly out to car park.
Previous experience climbing snow and ice and strong fitness levels are a must for this trip.
A second guide is brought in for more than 2 guests.

Fees are quoted per person, in Canadian funds plus 5% tax.
